Brontë Woodruff – Artist – Teaching & Curating

I enjoy teaching sessions, both for individuals and groups; my aim is to encourage and empower participants to take the plunge and explore their own creativity.  It is exciting to see people release their artistic inhibitions, often arising from early school days and a formidable art teacher telling them they were no good!

I also curate events, including three Out of Nature Sculpture Shows with Jenny Watt at Newport House, near Kington, in 2013, 2015 and 2017, the Maggie’s Spring Art Show at Lyde Arundel in 2011, for the Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre, several group exhibitions at The Colloquy, Lyonshall, for Macmillan and for St Michael’s Hospice. A follow-up show for St Michael’s is planned for November 2018. I also ran Art at No. 10 at The Struet in Brecon from 2008 until 2015.

I am on the Herefordshire Art Week Advisory Group,  and this September I hold my 15th consecutive Open Studio. Do come and visit.
